Cancellation of Programmes affected by Venue closures and school suspension


The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced that performance venues will remain closed until 17 February 2020. The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) has also officially cancelled all performances until 16 February 2020. Moreover, the government has also announced that all schools in Hong Kong will be suspended until 2 Mar 2020.

As a consequence of the above situations, the Hong Kong Arts Festival (HKAF) will not be able to present some of the programmes, while a number of Young Friends Specials and activities will also be suspended. Please refer to the attached list of affected programmes:

Regarding the remaining Festival and Young Friends programmes, we are monitoring the current situation closely and is in touch with relevant parties. We try our best to present as much of the Festival programmes as possible, either as scheduled, or with unavoidable postponement.
