Education Projects: Artists-in-Residence Project

Organised by Hong Kong Arts Festival and supported by BNP Paribas, the Artists-in-Residence programme is a unique six-month outreach project. Students from three local schools will learn and create a fascinating performance piece with guidance from PPS Danse Artistic Director Pierre-Paul Savoie and his team, alongside young local choreographer Joseph Lee.

Bosch Dreams, title sponsored by China Everbright Limited, is an homage to the painter Hieronymus Bosch and the surrealist movement he inspired. Take a close look at the incredible and fearsome costumes, masks and props that help conjure up Bosch’s peculiar and imaginative worlds. 

Workshop: Les 7 Doigts de la Main – Circus Funtasia

Artists from Les 7 Doigts de la Main will lead a circus-style workshop that is open to students of all levels, including those who have never tried circus before. During the workshop participants will rotate to different stations to explore hula-hoops, juggling and acrobatics. Also included will be demonstrations by the performers, who will talk about their discipline.
